Japanese Cha Shu Lotus Bun Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • Original (Plain) Lotus Bun
  • Baby Cabbage
  • Japanese Cha Shu Pork
  • Kewpie Mayonnaise
  • Toasted Sesame

 

Bun Preparations:

 Steam:

  • Use an electrical steam or traditional Steamer.
  • Toss buns into steamer and leave in steamer for 5 to 10 minutes.

OR

 Microwave:

  • Wrap bun(s) with wet paper towel.
  • Microwave on low for 30 to 45 seconds.

 

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Plain Lotus bun
  2. Add in a bed of baby cabbage
  3. Lay on the cha shu
  4. Drizzle some kewpie mayonnaise and top with sesame seeds
  5. Enjoy!
